What is “High Tech X Biointensive”? High tech x biointensive is an operating system for farm management techniques. It allows our grower team to optimize the growing process in two ways: by leveraging the latest technologies in combination tried and true, organic, natural, permaculture, and traditional market gardening.
High Tech
For Over 10 years Global Plant Database has been leading the way in automated management software for horticultural applications. Developed through a multinational model and using C# and SQL to store and verify the model. Global Plant Database is at the forefront of technologies empowering the world to grow more, in the right way. Plants.Ag is the commercial application of this technology. Allowing our Farmers to revolutionize the way product is grown, delivered, traced, and enjoyed.

Biointensive
Biointensive farming was developed by Curtis Stone and is one of the underlying decision making processes on farm apart from the Global Plant Database Model. This farming method has been integrated with other farming practices like permaculture, traditional market gardening, passive greenhouses, bioswales, water bio-treatment ponds, forest management and use of natural limestone to prevent petrochemical contamination. We even use a Ferrari tractor.

Michael Kowalewski obtained a BASc in Horticulture from Olds College, a Diploma of Horticulture from the University of Guelph and is Certified by Stichting Uitwisseling in the Netherlands.

Oskar Hanson obtained a Masters of Pure Mathematics from York University and a Bachelor of Mathematics at Ryerson University.
